If you are looking for the ultimate Surfing and Nature experience Galapagos is perfect for you. Here you can have clear warm water with world class waves and share them with: turtles, dolphins and sea lions… we have even seen some courageous iguanas surfing here!

Galapagos is only recommended for experienced surfers, however we can arrange surfing classes for those who really want to have a once in a life time experience... Surfing is available all year long because Galapagos receives northern and Southern swells; however, the best time to surf is from December to May.

Rental:

Surfboard: $20 per day / $14 half day (special prices for long-time rent)
Wetsuit: Shorty $5 per day - Long: $15 per day

Surfing spots:
Punta Carola: Ten minutes east from Puerto Baquerizo Moreno, it considered
one of the best waves in Galapagos. Here you can find waves of up to 10 feet
average. (Right hand wave)
El Cañón: 5 minutes from the hotel you will find this great surfing bay with
waves of 6 foot average. (Left hand wave)
Manglecito: About an hour away from the port, manglecito is a gorgeous beach
with 6 foot waves. (Right hand wave)
La loberia: 10 minutes from Puerto Baquerizo this places may have 6 foot
waves (left and right hand waves)
