Surfing Extension on San Cristobal Island. With large swells, reef and
shore-breaking waves, good offshore winds, and a world-class right on Carola
Beach, San Cristobal Island offers excellent surfing for experienced surfers
as well as an opportunity for beginners to spend a bit more time in the
crystal-clear warm waters. Marine turtles and sea lions are known to paddle
alongside surfers riding the waves, too. Our surfing extension can be added
to any Galápagos tour package, and includes all necessary equipment,
transportation to the various surf sites, guide/instructor accompaniment,
and hotel accommodations.
