Machalilla National Park is the best-preserved coastal reserve in continental Ecuador. It boasts magnificent beaches, tropical dry forests and pre-Inca ruins from the Valdivia, Chorrera, and Manteño cultures. The park also includes Isla de la Plata, an island famous for wildlife similar to that of the Galapagos Islands. Each day brings new adventures as we kayak various sections of the park where Humpback whales gather to bear their offspring.

Kayak near Salango a small islet located approximately 3 km offshore, famous for its ancient burial grounds belonging to the Valdivia, Machalilla and Chorrera people.
Visit Isla de la Plata “Silver Island,” renowned for its Galapagos-like marine and bird life · hike along the island’s trails, and find Blue Footed Boobies, Red Footed Boobies, Albatross and Sea lions.
